Furkan Oztanriseven (better known as Oz) is an assistant professor of business analytics. He has been teaching at Le Moyne College since fall 2016. He completed his Ph.D. in industrial engineering at the University of Arkansas.
Oz has taught business analytics, supply chain management, simulation and risk analysis, strategic management analysis, and industrial economic analysis. His primary areas of research involve options trading, economic decision analysis, transportation, and logistics modeling, disruption response and homeland security, and sustainability. His research is funded by several notable governmental agencies such as the U. S. Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Department of Transportation.
Oz is currently managing over one million dollars in residential real estate, and passionate is about teaching, long-term value investing and playing volleyball.
